What Corner is

Corner is a free app for sharing locations with friends, meeting up spontaneously (“hangouts”) and exploring your surroundings. The app is in a testing phase: features may change, fail or be removed.

Who can join

You must be at least 16 years old. One account per person; you are responsible for your account.

How we treat each other

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour: anyone who violates this is banned.

• No harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination.
• No illegal, pornographic or violence-glorifying content.
• Only use other people’s locations with their consent; do not follow or monitor anyone.
• No spam, no advertising, no fake accounts.
• Territories are a game: do not trespass or put yourself or others at risk in traffic.

Your content

Messages, photos and profile details remain yours. You allow us to store them and show them to the people you intended them for. Only post content you have the rights to.

Reporting, blocking, suspension

You can report people and messages and block people. Blocked people can no longer message you or see your profile. We review every report within 24 hours, remove objectionable content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

We aim for a reliable app but do not guarantee that locations are always accurate or up to date. Do not rely on Corner in emergencies. We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to foreseeable damage.

Ending use

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Changes and law

If these terms change materially, we will let you know in the app. German law applies. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
